Victoria Hospital is situated at City Market on Fort Road, Bangalore.
The century old premier medical institution of India, Victoria Hospital was established on 22nd June 1897 by her highness Kempananjammani Avaru, then Maharani regent of Mysore to commemorate the completion of 60 years of reign of Queen Victoria. Lord Curzon, the Viceroy of India inaugurated the hospital on 8th December 1900.

HOW TO REACH THE PLACE :-
The nearest metro station is the KR market metro station which is just 700 m from the Victoria Hospital. You can also reach the place through railways. The nearest railway station is Bangalore City junction which is just 2.2 km. Air mode is also available having 2 airports. One is the Victoria Inner Harbour Airport at a distance of 5 km and the other one is Victoria International Airport which is at 26 km from the destination.
HISTORY
Initially, it
had bed strength of 140 which now became the 2nd largest hospital in
the world having capacity of handling more than 1000 patients at a time. This
is a teaching hospital and is attached to Bangalore Medical College and
Research Institute, which is one of the premier Medical Colleges of India.
The
hospital
is located near the City Market on Fort Road. Despite being in city for
years, it has been titled haunted only a few years ago. There have been
multiple
reports of paranormal activities in the building.
It started with the spirit of
a woman who died at the hospital several years back. People have witnessed strange
incidents in the morgue of hospital which includes seeing a white spirit
lurking around the trees on the hospital premises.
Claims and Myths
The most interesting and amazing thing is that the ghost does not harm people instead just harmlessly steals food from them. On several different occasions though, the security guards of the hospital have seen a different spirit roaming around in the hospital and crying out loud at night.
