    Vrindavan Society is located in Thane, Maharashtra, India. The society was under construction in the 80's and then after 8 to 9 years it was opened for residents. When it was constructed, it was one of the demanded society in Thane where most of the residents were living from different areas of India.

 

    It has approximately 100 buildings in a society and the area is densely populated. There are many stories of a spirit that gives the feeling of some paranormal sightings.

         The Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport is 25.3 km far away from this place. It is easily accessible by taxis and buses, so those who want to visit could get some help by the information.

 

 

 

HISTORY

     The story is about a man who lives in building 66B and committed a suicide in that society. After that, his spirit haunted the people during the night. The unknown force slaps someone and even though they can not find anyone in their surrounding.

 

    The spirit is called as "Slapping Ghost". There is no reason why the spirit slaps the people and even it refuses to leave the place after so many years. There were also some story like the building was built on an ancient burial site and they haunt the area.

 

    Though there are also some persons who did not believe in those things and never felt anything to be haunted. We can say that they are not incorrect as they were living in that area with no paranormal happenings.

 

 

 

Claims And Myths

1.     There is a belief that the spirit of a man who committed suicide has slapped guards who have been on duty during the night.
2.     The residents complained that they often felt that someone was peaking from the balcony or in window. Some have also heard the strange voices in the bathroom.
3.     Some people felt that they were being followed while walking in the corridors but no one was around there.
