 ABOUT

    Situated on St. Marks Road, the building of Vaz villas gives you the terrified feeling even when you are passing by it. It was built by E J Vaz in 1943 who was an advocate in Bombay High Court. The place comes in the list of top haunted places of India. The place was also known as Terra Vera.

    Afterwards, the place was gifted to the daughters of an advocate, Vera and Dolce. Vera was an English Tutor and Dolce was a Piano Instructor by profession. The place was used to be a royal house for the two daughters. But, nowadays it turned into the spooky place.

    It was an infrastructure with 8 interconnected rooms. As you will be able to see the old Hillman Minx Blue car in the below picture. Articles like furniture, precious statues, etc were spread out there but nobody dares to take them along.

    HOW TO REACH THE PLACE :-

 

        The bungalow was demolished in 2014. So, you would not be able to visit the house as it was before. Still, if you want to see the place, you can visit the St. Marks Road as it is connected to other major roads.

 

 

HISTORY

    On September 4, 2002, such an incident happened during the night and the place became horrified. Dolce, a 75- year old daughter was killed by the youth in front of Vera, the elder sister who broke into the house at midnight. Vera heard her sister's scream to save herself. She came out of the room and saw the youth assaulting her sister. She can not do anything except shouting. Her body was buried into that mansion. After that day, the spook started happening.

    Then after Vera moved to the safer location as she was very scared. But, the case remain unsolved even today. People who went there to click the picture of that place, have come back with some corrupt images and dead batteries too.

 

 

 

Claims And Myths

    Paranormal Investigators once tried to stay at night and they really found something eerie there. An inverted cross, statue of Jesus and Mary with its head and arms blown off. They heard several sound which were abnormal. They also claimed to have a feeling as someone was staring on them since long time.

    A trespasser complained to get burnt while he visited there to check the reality. The neighbors who resided there had also claimed to hear some melody of piano coming from that place. Witnesses had also claimed seeing the silhouette near the window, hearing blood-curling screams. These happenings occur at any time of a day. Isn't it amazing? In 2014, the house was razed to the ground, even though the spooks happened.
