Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan, India - Most Haunted Place

 ABOUT

    Bhangarh Fort is located at the border of Sariska Tiger Reserve, in the Alwar District of Rajasthan, India. It was built by Bhagwant Das in the 17th Century. It is famous for being "Most Haunted Place In India". Visiting at night is prohibited by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Scientists stayed here for a night and feel the negative aura of it. Several paranormalists have also witnessed the horror activities inside the fort.

    HOW TO REACH THE PLACE :-

•         AIR:-          Santendar Airport will be the closest airport at a distance of 56 km from the fort. From there, you have to book a cab after it.
  

•       TRAIN:-     The Nearest Railway Station will be the Dausa Railway Station at a distance of 22 km from the fort.
  

•       ROAD:-      There are many bus travelers going to the fort, even you can go there by Rajasthan Bus transport or any private cabs.

 

HISTORY

•  Lost In The Shadows - Bhangarh Fort : 

                                                                            The first story claims that the king named Madho Singh takes the permission of the ascetic named Balanath who lived there. He accept it with the condition of not falling the shadow of the fort upon the home of the ascetic. But as fate would never be on good side, one of the successor of the king modified the fort. Thus, the shadow fall upon the home of an ascetic and the alleged prophecy stood fulfilled, and the Bhangarh Fort became haunted.

•  A Black Magician - Bhangarh Fort :

                        Second story says that Princess of Bhangarh Fort named Ratnavati was responsible for the hauntifying situation of the fort. This story is more popular than the first one. A local black magician named Singhia fell in love with the princess as the beliefs were she have been very beautiful. Hence, once he tried to bewitched cosmetic to make her fell in love with him. The princess resolved the conspiracy by pouring the cosmetics over a massive stone, which then lead to the murder of the 'Tantrik'. During his last breathe, he cursed the entire fort that no soul would ever be able to live in peace there. Thus, whole fort became haunted.

Claims and Myths

1.     Resident of Alwar district, Rajasthan, a 9-year old child named Masoom Bhargav, once was roaming around the fort with his father and suddenly an unknown person started walking with them. So, his father carried him and started walking fast to get rid of the stranger. The plan worked as the stranger disappeared but when they asked the people who were around us told there was nobody following them.


2.     After hearing such horrifying stories, the college group students went there during the night. They reached there and started exploring the place. Around 12.30 A.M., they heard a female voice shouting from the fort. Thus, they decided to leave the fort and started running. Even after some horrible experiences, they leave the fort.


3.     One person went there to visit the fort with the guide and they became late to be out of there before sunset. They hurried for the exit with the scaredness on their face. Afterwards, they saw a lamp burning before the temple of the fortress as if someone was there. Then, they heard laughter of a man and scream of a woman and some other horrible experiences. They felt that someone was chasing behind them. So, they started running and took the lift of a truck and went from there.
